Description

Metabolism is a dietary supplement which will improve your metabolism every day during daily activities as well as during sleep when you have to regenerate. The supplement consists of two capsules with different ingredients and effects. The day capsule will boost your energy and improve metabolism. The night capsule will help to strengthen the effects which you’ve been working on during a day. The unique supplement contents are based on plant extracts and organic substances which have been used for centuries to restore metabolic balance.

DAY

The day capsule contains extracts of: green tea, chili peppers, cinnamon bark and Berberis aristata. Active substances that they contain will enhance and regulate metabolism as well as protect against the harmful effects of free radicals.

EGCG green tea extract

The medicinal effects of green tea mainly result from a high content of polyphenols which constitute up to 30% of the dry tea leaf weight. Many health-promoting effects are attributed to multiple catechins (EGCG). These compounds have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Stress, environmental pollution, stimulants or even intensive physical activity may expose you to the harmful effects of free radicals. Green tea extracts help to lower their number and prevent their negative effects by inhibiting lipid peroxidation, neutralizing free radicals and limiting forming reactive oxygen species.

Chilli pepper extract – capsaicin

Capsaicin stimulates metabolism at many various levels and is used as a supplement reducing appetite, stimulating thermogenesis and increasing the use of fat in that process. It activates brown adipose tissue, which is connected with enhancing and increased metabolism. The studies show that the supplementation of chilli pepper extracts helps to achieve better results during the treatment of many lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, obesity or cardiovascular diseases.

Cinnamon bark extract

For centuries, cinnamon bark extracts have been recommended as preparations supporting the treatment of diabetes and other diet-related diseases. This effect results from regulating carbohydrate metabolism connected with glycogen synthesis, reducing glucose absorption in the intestine and improving insulin action. Apart from that, substances present in cinnamon bark modulate inflammatory response, reduce cholesterol concentration, inhibit the release of ghrelin (regulate our appetite) and have antioxidant properties.

Berberis aristata (Berberine)

Berberine is a plant alkaloid obtained from Berberis aristata extracts which has many pharmacological properties. The most important ones are: reducing the glucose and cholesterol levels, anti-atherosclerosis, antioxidant and immunomodulatory properties. Berberine also increases the use of glucose in adipose tissue cells and at the same time slows glucose absorption in the intestine. The studies on patients with metabolic syndrome showed that berberine improves lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, thus reduces weight and waist circumference.

NIGHT

The night capsule contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), the extract of Coleus forskohlii root and the extract of banaba leaves. These extracts will stimulate metabolic transformations of carbohydrates and fats during your sleep.

Conjugated linoleic acid – CLA

CLA has high potential lowering the amount of adipose tissue by reducing visceral fat, that is belly fat. It also improves blood lipid parameters and decreases glucose uptake. CLA lowers blood pressure and has antidiabetic activity. The studies also show that conjugated linoleic acid has stronger anticancer activity than well-known omega−3 fatty acids. The most promising results were obtained for breast cancer which is the most common cancer in women.

Coleus forskohlii root extract

The main active substance in Coleus forskohlii (Indian coleus) is forskolin. The extracts were already used in traditional Indian medicine. They were used to treat hypertension, asthma and cardiovascular complications. Nowadays, forskolin is known to stimulate adipose tissue metabolism and testosterone production. It lowers the amount of adipose tissue and at the same time maintains muscle mass. Moreover, the extracts of coleus forskohlii have a positive effect on the vascular endothelium, increasing the lumen of a blood vessel and protecting against the circulatory system disorders.

Banaba leaf extract

For years, the extracts of banaba leaves have been used to support the treatment of diabetes, which is connected with their hypoglycemic activity. The beneficial effects of the extracts with regard to various aspects of glucose metabolism include: increased cellular glucose uptake, increased cellular insulin sensitivity and decreased gluconeogenesis. The regulation of lipid metabolism involves mainly decreasing the level of triglycerides and cholesterol. The clinical trials showed that the extract of banaba improves biochemical blood parameters and facilitates losing weight for patients with diabetes and metabolic disorders.

How to use: Take 1 capsule in the evening after the last meal.

Precautions: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Product for adults. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a healthy diet. The supplement should not be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women, people taking medicines for heart conditions and people having an allergy to any product ingredient. The supplement cannot be used simultaneously with anticoagulants, medicines for hypertension, vasodilators or by people with peptic ulcer disease and diabetes. People taking anticoagulants and suffering from low blood pressure should consult with a doctor or a pharmacist.
